I Miss It All Poem by Maria Mullin

I Miss It All

I miss our long talks
Our laughs
Our jokes
Our smiles
Our tears
I miss your hugs
Your arms around me
My head buried in your chest
Your warm feel
Your cologne
I miss you whispering in my ear
Its gonna be ok
I’ll do anything for you
Just cry its ok
Im here for you
I miss you looking in my eyes
Staring me down
Brightening my day
Making me laugh
Making me frown
I miss the feel of your hand in mine
Your jacket around my shoulders
Your fun games on boring days
Your ability to make me better
But how can I miss what was never mine
Never truly mine
Maybe you were my best friend
But your heart belonged to someone else
I remember watching you stare
As she walked by
I remember my intense glare
I remember the tears
The anger
The frustration
The long nights
The waiting
I was sad and lonely
With no one to go to
I felt as if
I was talking to a wall
But
Believe it or not
I miss it all
