I Miss My Years Of Freedom Poem by Noorie Ali

I Miss My Years Of Freedom

Rating: 3.5

I miss those times when I was a toddler.
Those times when I was so innocent.
I could do no harm but mumble.

I miss those times when I needed a telling-off
By my mother, when she screamed of her fear of me falling or hurting myself.

I miss those times, those moments of laughter with my dear little friends whom id play with in the park or outside my back yard, in the streets of naivety.

I miss those times when I would sneak off with a guilt-free conscious.
Buy those penny sweets or those 10-penny crisp packets of Spaceraders.

I miss those times when I would go to school; meet my petals, as I would soar through the playground without a worry running around in my head.

I miss those times.
I miss those times.

I reminisce those times when I was free.
