I Miss You Poem by Babalwa Mbalula

I Miss You

Rating: 5.0

Now as i sit here in your room
even though your gone
I can smell you
that sweet apricot smell
the smell that brought
a sense of security with in me
I miss the warm smile that
was reasuring
the smile that told me
everything will be okay
those warm arms that could
chase the baddest nigtmare away
you were my hero and you still are
now that your gone i
realise that i took you for
granted when you
were here with me
I never told you this but
now i think it is the perfect time
to let you know
I love you grandma
and i miss you dearly
one thing reasures me though
i know you're looking
down on me from heaven and protecting me

Sometimes we do treasure people after they've left us. It's such a heartfelt poem! Amazing work! Preets
