I Miss You Poem by Kaysen Fraker

I Miss You

The pain of your absences
is of the unbearable kind
you left me alone
sinking back into the darkness

I don’t know where you went
I don’t know where I am
I’m lost again
I need you to show me the way

Our pleasant departure left a smile on my face
that first day you didn’t show
I didn’t really think twice
its only one day right?

But then another
and another
now it’s been to long
how do I know you’re coming back at all

You left me broken
ready to shatter
if you don’t come back soon
I'll crumble

this speaks volumes to me today...if only they knew the torment of absence...may it all work out for you.
