I Must See You Poem by Modupeola Williams

I Must See You

Rating: 4.8

I must see you
My eyes are hungry for the sight of you
Thirsty for your sapphire glance
Tired, from searching the crowd in hope of finding you - the one I most admire

I must see you
My arms are aching from your absence
Cold, without your warmth
Dying, just longing for the feel of your touch

I must see you
My ears are lonely, awaiting your voice
Melancholy, without your laughter
Pining for the concerto that is our conversation

I must see you
My heart is heavy, missing the beat of yours
The steady rhythm
That completes my life's song

I appreciate your commitment to see her. Another beautiful poem from a skilled poet.
