Mandolyn ...

i need an aneurysm when i'm next to you

if you were beating
if you were warm
i'd pick the seat beside you
maybe touch your quadricep

but i don't know how
to push you out of yourself...
to make you soft
like that song you love

i'm always breaking
when you walk in the room
begging my body
just die already!

i'm jacked up all over
and i still have three loads
of laundry to do

but the moon is full tonight
so i can believe in God again
knowing this is really
just a test
