When you travel you're never too far away
When you stay, you're always too near
And although there are times I miss you
There are times I wouldn't mind if you were to disappear

My mind has wrapped itself around you
Over and over, about a million times
It knows all the good and all the bad
I wish there was more to you, sometimes

Could you be new for me
A new voice, a new face, a reinvention, a supplant
With fresh ways, another phase
But you keep saying that you can't
