you came and stayed awhile,
you showed me that im only human,
everything i am, is because of you.
youd come and go
run in and out
open and close
my heart.
still i need you.
your my drug of choice,
your love is my medication
to my life,
the thing that keeps me going.
my first thought in the morning is you
i think of you during the day,
youre even in my dreams while i sleep.
my world is centered around you
i need you.
you never leave my mind,
even when i have a million things to worry about.
it hurts to knoe that i can have you in my heart,
but not in my arms.
i wish for you to be with me,
to own my body for the rest of our seconds together.
