Guess what?
Self control is a joke
And I must be the punch line
Because I just can't shut my mouth anymore.
Secrets behind these eyes collect dust
And threaten to be forgotten.
I pray for me to keep my scars,
Constantly begging for remembrance
I've been humbled, oh keep me close, to
The memories of my own shame
Lest I turn away to repeat this again.
