I Never Heard Your Name Again Poem by Manonton Dalan

I Never Heard Your Name Again

fading whispers at barbershop
where coffee is savored in mug
telling stories about selected world
finding importance of themselves
most of the stories are repeated
for sharper mind it’s absurd

fine moments when food comes
all disrupted to solemn calm
besides grinding mandibles’ rhyme
and sweeping toast of cheap wine
they are satisfied to every which way
bid goodbyes and hope for next day

i never heard your name again
maybe you are passing wind
stir dust and fade with the rain
but i know something is certain
i listen because i need rocking
so the most; they love that feeling
