LORD ~ I open my Mind to YOUR thoughts
That YOU send to me today,
Hoping that I’ll understand them,
As in my heart to YOU, I pray.

I pray for knowledge and understanding,
To know what is right and what is wrong,
I pray for health and happiness,
That decisions I make may be strong.

I know my Path has been guided,
By YOUR Hand YOU’ve been guiding me,
May my Faith be constant forever,
May I continue to believe in THEE.

I strayed like my fellow humans,
Whom YOU’ve created and put on this Earth,
I acknowledge my frailties and weaknesses,
In my Life till now ~ from my Birth.

LORD of Compassion stay with me,
Direct my thoughts to write verse,
So others will learn of your Secrets,
And their bad deeds will not get any worse.
