I Remember Poem by Lisa Cee

I Remember

Rating: 4.3

The sound of laughter,
The late nights talking,
The long walks home,
Loving arms around me,
You’re cold hands reaching,
To find mine in the dark,
You said you love me,
Would never leave my side;
Staring at the knife in your hand,
Covered in dripping blood,
How easy it was to slash at flesh
And watch blood pour out,
As you fell Lifeless and cold,
Like you’re hands to the floor.
