Theres a rhyme flowing through my head,
song of you and me in another time,
a place where I can't get back to my own bed,
a perfect sign of when you where mine,

Where you laughed your silly laugh,
where you said i'd be us till the end,
peace will come again,
the only thing between us is sand.

An hourglass flowing down,
a never ending drain,
waiting for your to turn it around,
and bring back that time again.
