I Respect Poem by Krystal Bullard

I Respect

I respect a real man that has love for his kids, a real man thats been there since day 1, a man who watched his child being born while crying like a baby himself, I respect a real man that showers not only one but all his kids with love and kindness, don't treat them different instead the opposite, I respect a real man who doesn't have a problem with changing diapers or spilling formula on the cabinet because he cant make it all into the bottle, a man who teaches his son to throw a football the correct way and shows his daughter how a fathers love for his babygirl should be. One who mad faces when they lost their first tooth and panicked when they got their first booboo. I respect a real man that deserves the title of being called father, one who'll never walk out on his kids and won't do nothing but provide for them. I respect a real man, My kids father.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this this morning as i watched my kids father get up and get our 5 year old daughter dressed and ready for school. Watching him do so makes me fall in love with him more and more each day. He is an amazing father to our kids, he has been there for all their first from birth to chainging diapers from their first tooth to first step.
