I Said I'D Wait Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

I Said I'D Wait

Rating: 5.0

I am absolutely feeling all the joy and excitement you bring,
the way you are attracted to me
makes my heart pulsate,
causing it to forever sing,
oh and I know you speak of me, for my ears constantly seem
to ring.

It is a beautiful feeling,
so warm inside,
though what I feel for you I can never seem
to hide,
it may sound corny but when I hear your voice
my stomach flips,
and goes back and forth as the tide.

I'm patiently waiting for that up and coming day,
I've waited for this day my entire life,
you'll take me in your arms,
stroking my face,
holding me,
then you'll kiss me and say,
I need a precious woman with a special heart,
Linda will you do me
the honor of being my wife?
