I Saw You Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Saw You

I Saw You

I saw you were so smart.
You were brilliant.
You worked on the telescopes,
Of ancient times.

You were self absorbed in these formulas.
And you saw the world through figures and symbols.
You were the genius everybody wanted to be.
And were in my family.

Thanks Dad for you being you.
I enjoyed your genius.
