I See You Poem by Mel Sarnese

I See You

in your office in L.A.
and in the library in Scotland
maybe London
who knows
I see you in your bed
when you were three
and on your harp at seven
I see you hold out your hand
Come to me
And you phone
to tell me
you just had the best Chinese
in Chinatown San Fran
and then had wine
with two seniors
with a sailboat
who went to Harry's Bar
and I said
I feel you
