sunshine never came today
pine needles are straight
up waiting for to shine
it's been like this week
muddy roads to cruise by
no accident this morning

I did lots of work today
mostly paperwork, errands
I clear my desk of clatter
am trying to clear my mind
still jungle n there, I know
you been hiding there too
