I See You Have Come Prepared Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

I See You Have Come Prepared

This is the first time,
I have actually come inside your store.
There is so much variety.
Where should I begin?
And what would you recommend?

'I would recommend having patience and time.
And I would suggest,
Not making up your mind to quickly.
Each item you see has meaning.
And has been carefully pieced together for a purpose.'

So you are saying,
Nothing I see should be viewed...
Just on the surface.

'Bingo.
I'll come to find you,
If I think you have lost yourself.
Some have become offended...
Refusing to comprehend to understand.
But I see you have come prepared.'

And able.
