I Shall Miss... Poem by Raymond Finnegan

I Shall Miss...

Darkness reigns upon angelic eyes.
Innocent and thundering.

Desperate and sympathetic
undone to wipe the shame of sadness.
The heart pulsating with each movement.

Now head tilted back.
Face distorted by poisoned sorrow.

Instrument in hand drawn back over head.
Broken dreams are driven in by nails.

Tears sparkling ever flowing.
Fall gently upon the ground searching for thy love departed.
