I Skipped Along Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Skipped Along

I Skipped Along

I skipped along my merry way,
And nobody stopped me as I went.
I felt a sense of mirth.
Of sadness there was no birth.

I skipped along my merry way.
I ran through fields of flowers.
Amongst all of nature's way,
I felt fresh rain showers.

I then sat to ponder,
Why nature was a beauty.
I then realized,
It was not for me to query.

So I just skipped along my merry way,
And nobody stopped me as I went.
I felt happy through and through,
This was nature's answer sent.
