When the grey clouds lies about being blue
The clock steals time from my life in lieu
Stand​ing​ naked in the cold to defy
Sees the icy wind to blow colder try

I am in limbo as I wain toward the east
The emptines​s​ tries to convince me least
The trees wind song ringing in my ears
About how I've loved and lost over the years

The days get shorter and shorter still
My weakness is battling with my inner will
Ghost​s​ walk within my dreams of death
Knowi​ng​ that they wait to freeze my last breath

Insid​e​ a beating heart holds me warm inside
I thought my ability to love had died
I sleep in uncertai​n​ demise in hidden dreams
Not to be today it seems..
