I Spy A Little Light Poem by douglas lewis

I Spy A Little Light

I lie in a stiff bed
And my body is stiff.
Even the light is stiff and dim.
A pale white of inconvenience.
A stubborn eye
Of little warmth.
A spy, high above my head.
