I Still See Beauty Poem by Manonton Dalan

I Still See Beauty

Rating: 5.0

Was looking at bundle of flowers
neatly wrap with yellow plastic
i am tempted to take picture, share
but something tells me i shouldn't
there are people that refuse to smile
that a view of caring is toxic to mind

touched it instead and let fragrance
crawl into my nostrils; blow to wind
i know those fingers that created this
must be inspired that somebody will buy
maybe capture image of freshness to tell
i took one good look and walk the aisle

there are people that refuse to smile that a view of caring is toxic to mind.. a meditation on beauty leads you to a terrible fact that there can be people who cannot smile and share themselves in love. you have pointed out it soo well in short verses with clear substance. thank you dear Poet
