I tell myself
all the lies
that are true
through my eyes

Others say different
but those are
the real lies
they bring forth

I may seem different
once they find out
who i truly am
and what im about

No one understands
why i tell myself
all the lies
that i do
but the real reason
behind it all
is hiding my feelings,
personality, being,
everyhing, to those
who disagree
and bring judgement
upon people like me

The lies i tell
to myself
make me a better me
shows how humble
i am, through my eyes
not thinking higher
compared to others
of how others
might see
