I thank the Lord

All the days and nights that pass by
all the birds that fly
all the days I look to the sky
all those days are the days I thank the Lord

All the memories
all the laughs
I thank the Lord hey never fade
I thank the Lord they came my way

All the family
all the friends he has given me
helped open my eyes and see

I have a perfect life
in a not so perfect world
I know I have a battle to fight
and I will fight by shinning my light
all these things
all these days
I thank the Lord

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
