I Told You So Poem by Gianni Vespucci

I Told You So

I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news
But you are beginning to become soft
Complaining all about your malt shop blues
One girl and you leave yourself in the loft
All that you have now is your pretty face
And whatever is left of your ego
Well that is if there is any more trace
It looks like it will take some time to grow

Gianni, you used to be the top dog
Never cared for feelings of others
Nobody else but you and your brothers
Leader of the ones sitting on the log
You were truly a man of the people
All together you were the three wise men
You as yourself were a true zeppelin
Of all that you knew you were the steeple

Now you lost yourself walking the road
Forgot all about your very own code
Then your dream turned right into a nightmare
Slowly losing yourself, Head with no air
See now you are homely beyond belief
Then found a girl but still without relief
A lowly being, The epitome
So now you are standing here blaming me

Just let all of that hate out of your core
Let out your true feelings with all the gore
I am your only friend to you relate
Gianni and Jacob share the same traits
We are the same person so do not fight
I have told you all of this in hindsight
I am the only source of your true bliss
I told you so and trust when I say this
