I Tried Poem by Some Girl

it's been a long time
but i let you in
you took my hand
and the story begins

its been too long
a road not traveled
but i gave my trust
and soon it unraveled

the laughter it left
as soon as it began
i didn't know what to do
i still had your hand

i wanted your heart
it was a shot in the dark
it was a long time
to try a walk in the park

all good things must end
i tried though
i am lost
where does my heart go
