I Try To Remember Poem by Silence Dogood

I try to remeber that my life is really good.
I have both my parents like all kids should.
I have great friends who stand by my side.
They stand up for me all the time.
And I try to remember thats its not so bad.
I havent lost anybody and my mom loves my dad.
I try to remember that your life isnt so great.
Youve had alot of misery and alot of heartbreaks.
But yet even though I know this I cant muster a smile.
Cause alot of things happened and forgetting takes a while.
And when I write I cant make you laugh.
Crying at old memories and dusty photographs.
And I try so hard to smile for real.
Trying to laugh through all my tears.
