I'Ve Heard Enough Poem by Francis Duggan

I'Ve Heard Enough

I've heard enough from you now please
Don't want to hear of your Uni degrees
Or of how wonderful you are
Or of the size of your new car,
Your worth as a person to me you wish to sell
And though in life I wish you well
Of your worth as a person I do not wish to hear
To you can I make that more clear,
You cannot be happy in yourself to me 'twould seem
When you try to boost your self esteem
Self promotion seems a common thing
Far too many their own praises do sing
Enamoured in your own self conceit
People like you I often meet.
