Phoenix Alatheia
I've known him for a while
I've known him for a while
but only by a gleam
but he's the most mysterious man
I have ever seen.
He hides something and I don't know
He is hiding somewhat
he takes it in his hands
and locks it in his heart
Then he dives into books
like dolphins in the sea
Into his own world
he only shares with high fees
He hides something and I don't know
He is hiding somewhat
he takes it in his hands
and locks it in his heart
Chorus:
And then I ask myself
when does his heart set him free
when shall this heart awake
from his self-destructing sleep?
Or maybe it's just grieving
about an old love in the past
Hoping that she comes back
to give him strength at last.
Strophe:
I give it up sometimes
and it leaves me completely cold
but then I realize again
'but what if he's growing old?
and lives there with all his pain
and lives there with his scars …
how heartbreaking it is
Taken over by your heart
Chorus:
And then I ask myself
when does his heart set him free
when shall this heart awake
from his self-destructing sleep?
Or maybe it's just grieving
about an old love in the past
Hoping that she comes back
to give him strength at last.
