I Walk In The Silence Of The Night's Calm Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Walk In The Silence Of The Night's Calm

I WALK IN THE SILENCE OF THE NIGHT’S CALM

I walk in the silence of the night’s calm
Nothing disturbs me-
The light wind makes me feel more alive
I am overwhelmed by a sudden great happiness-
Why after so many years
Is God still good to me?
I walk in joy and gratitude
God has given me
So many years
And I am still alive.
