I Walk Out Into The Night

I WALK OUT INTO THE NIGHT

I walk out into the night
Away from the noise-
Away from everything from everyone-
I hear the silence-
I am calm-
I walk and walk and walk
Into the night-
And into my own silence and calm-
And in this quiet,
In this peace,
I hear these words
And write them down.
