I want to be what? Let us see
Just what it is I want to be

I want to be a help to each
Of the persons that I reach

I want to be a father so great
Myself my kids will never hate

I want to be the best pop pop
Hugs from them will never stop

I want to be a man so strong
My thoughts won't ever go wrong

I want to be the best person I can be,
The best parts of me I want to set free

I want to be forgiven for all
My screwups that came in the fall

I want to be sane, never insane
I don't want my life full of pain

Of the me I am I want to be proud
Not shamed and hiding in the crowd

I want to be loved for the me they know
I don't want to have to put on a show

But more then all I want to be your friend,
My love for you will never end
