I only want to hold you
Take you in my arms
Hold on to you forever
Protect you from lifes harms

You are the other half of me
You make my life complete
I want so much to share with you
A life we can both keep

To have you in my life
To love and to hold
I always want to be with you
Even as the years make me grow old

I promise to always stay with you
Until the very end
I want to be your life lover
But most of all I want to be your friend
