I Want To Scream Poem by Lola Sanchez

I Want To Scream

Rating: 5.0

i want to scream to shout up at the heavens
i want to use obscene gestures at inanimate objects
i want to stamp my feet and roll on the floor
i want my dissatisfaction known my frustration public
my head is in a warped space
things are remembered best left forgotten
while lifelines are lost in the roads of my mind
my body is protesting she says it’s not her fault
the brain says no,
she’s innocent ‘it’s the soul’,
so my soul is confused,
frustrated with the confusion
and understandably causing havoc with all my other functions
...now what?

Reorganize To Create the Illusion of Progress. We trained hard, but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams, we would be reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing, and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.
