I Was Not Wrong Poem by Neela Nath Das

I Was Not Wrong

There was a cry a cry within
That told me it was half.
Very queer but very true that I
Night after night awaited love
It could not be full of total lie.
I wish and my heart pushed
So, there was I.
It's the time to look back to see
Whether, we played a game.
I don't know yours but mine I know
Really, I wanted to be tamed.
I was not wrong, responding to my mind
Perhaps you were the same.
Your words were real, your desire true,
Truly, it wasn't a game.
I was not wrong, neither you
My blood actually gushed to say,
Time was there to block our love,
To block our unknown way.
