What do you think this poem is about?

I was, until I was no more

I was the illumination that embraced your presence
Who blinded my own sight for earth bound reality
I was the sound of trust that whispered into your soul
and had kept you from walking away from me

I was the cold that iced your burning treachery
and brought down the wall where it was worshipped
I was the knife that struck your caged heart
and released all hopes from their frightful keep

I was the field that stretched upon your memories
who emptied the space where love should have been
I was the mist that clouds your sunset eyes
And I fell, hopelessly running down your arctic skin

Until I fell no more, and it was meant to be
