I WHO HAVE NOTHING
Melvin Banggollay


I, who have nothing
can't give you anything
like precious gold
Even I'll dig till I'll be old.

I, who have nothing,
can't promise everything
But I can give you my life
To serve you without strife.

Truly, I may be nothing
But I can do something
To heal your loneliness
with all my tenderness.

Nothing pleases my being
if not you, my everyhting
for you are my only love
With every breath I have.
