Night falls so quietly,
solitude surrounds me.
My thoughts are with you.

You took my life and gave it
a whole new perspective,
then you just gave it back,
No thank you's,
No good-byes.

You can never give back
what you took from me,
Not my hopes,
my dreams,
Not that piece of my heart.

Go on with your bad self,
your demanding unjust ways.
Love is a two way street,
it's not all of what you say.

Your just as likely to make
your own mistakes.
That's what makes us human.
I'll miss you, that's all.
