Last night you were on my mind
And I was afraid to call you
It seems lately I have been drowned in my insecurities
I do not know what else to do
I will just pass you by and ignore the situation
Just look at me
We can never be
So, I do not know why I waste my time
I will just pass you by
The shame, the pain, the ugly
Do you really want to know me?
Don't you know that there is a frown behind this fake smile?
I get so close to you and then I run away
Because all I see is an illusion
I can not mess with you anymore
How can you stand my presence?
Wanting to scream I hide and I can't say hi
I will just pass you by
I will just let you slip away like all the others
Sooner or later it will all be over
Drenched in my sorrow with no one to hold on to
I will look at you and nothing is what I will do
The problems, the hurts, and the fears
I don't want you to see them
I will be crying on the inside as I pass you by
