Nice sentiment in your poem. Something everyone can relate to. I really admire the title - as soon as I read this title, I Will Steal From You, I had to read the poem. Thank you. (Report) Reply

~I'll go away one day, you know.
And I want to take as a reminiscence.
A fragment of your kiss on my lips,
Perhaps a hug, or an embrace...~

A lovely poem about stolen love. When we love and then we lost
we always take a part of that love with us. Then at times we will
call to mind some of the very special feelings we had for that person.
Very romantic, felt the words. (Report) Reply

Enjoyed this poem and others. I didn't know there was a catagory Member Poem of The Day, but got an email saying I'd been chosen for April 12th. That's how I found you. Just finished a book I think you'd enjoy if you haven't read it, Ambition and Survival, Becoming a Poet by Chrisitian Wiman. Have a nice day and keep writing! RL (Report) Reply

aside from any potential message, let us examine the structure of your poem:
you lack a certain meter but that in an of itself doesn't make a poem bad, what your poem lacks to be great is that certain flow, a composed use of poetic building blocks, in order to compensate for the lack of meter or rhyme. any such alliteration added or less anastrophe used would go a long way in your works
