I Will Wait. Poem by Fay Slimm

I Will Wait.

Rating: 5.0

Fate, on occasion, will leave open
a gate, leading to timeless union,
created in starlight by such warm love.
The Gods decreed this for us two,
brought, almost struggling, into
togetherness, not knowing why,
you and I, now fated, must in patience
sit out our time at destiny's door.
Maybe sighing, but never denying
the beautiful bond that is ours..
Expansively wide is the opened gate,
and I will wait there for eternity
knowing you will be with me
some day my dear.
If you join me in spirit right now,
I can assure you I will know.
