I wish you love, as on a star
That shooting brilliant in the night
Could carry any wish afar
And deliver any wish by light.

I wish you love, as in a breeze
That can caress as if my hand
Were holding yours and could with ease
Feel your golden wedding band.

I wish you love, as shines the sun
Outpouring warmth upon your face
Strong as silk so definitely spun,
As delicate as woven lace.

I wish you love, as where I there
To whisper each and every phrase.
I wish you love, and here I swear
To love you past the end of days.
