This goes beyond just a wish or a prayer,
This is less than how actually could show I care_

I just hope you understand,
If only I could hold yo' hand_

But I wish that i could taste yo' kiss,
And I wish that this wasn't a wish_

I wish that i could hear you say that you Love me once more,
Because I don't love you as before,
I love you much more_

I wish that you were my girl once again,
We'd be more than lovers and the best of friends,
I wish that we could never come to an End_

I wish that I never messed up what we had and uh,
All the great times we had. I hope you rememeber_

I wish that you read this and know it's from my heart,
I wish you'd understand that I prayed that we never would part_

I wish that you would ask me if this one is for you,
I wish you'd believe my love for you is true,
I wish you knew_

Just how much you mean to me girl,
Because to me_ it means the world_
