I Wish For Peace Poem by Ellen Mckinnon

I Wish For Peace

Rating: 5.0

What I wish for on midnight's first star,
Is to cure the war that reaches from afar,
Not for my own soldiers, not for my own men,
But for their's as well, the wives and children that they defend,
I wish for no one to win the war, for no foe to fall,
I wish for all soldiers and fighters to answer Mother Peace sweet call

An outstanding effort, simply awesome! I have rated it 10/10. 'Not for my own soldiers, not for my own men, But for their's as well, the wives and children that they defend, ' You deserve a 'Peace Prize' for this bold statement. May your tender heart's appeal reverberate in the minds of the war mongers!
