i wish you’re not like me
wish you’re different
i wish you’re not my psyche
wish you’re not sent

i wish it never grew
wish it had faded away when it’s still young
i wish it vaporized like dew
wish it had withered before leaves sprung

i wish i’ve never been complete
wish i’m still missing a piece
i wish it has always been a myth
wish i’m still on my quest

i wish i could still dream
wish i’m still free
i wish we’re not always the same
wish i could still defy this constancy
