I Wish You Were A Star Poem by Bernard Eseo

I Wish You Were A Star

Burning many miles away
Anytime you would explode
I wish it were today

I wish you were a star
Alone in this great big abyss
Far from everyone else
Now, I only wish of this

I wish you were a star
Youre just like the others too
You'd change your form and colors
While I'm just rather blue

I wish you were a star
Unlikely to be reached
With every way possible, I've tried
Your soul could not be breached

And yes, you are that star
Not the ones that shine
But the ones that come and go
And cant always be called mine
