I won't
Leave you pondering
I'll slap it on your plate
Meat, potatoes and gravy
Turn your nose up at it
If you want
Complain about how it's cooked
Complain about the presentation
Complain about the amount of salt
I don't care what you think
Or what you have to say
One thing is certain
You'll know what it is
It's meat and potatoes
And don't forget
The gravy.
