I wonder girl, what's on your mind
Is it too late or do we still have the time
Is this mountain I chose to difficult to climb
Or is the reality of my quest too distant to find
I wonder girl about the cards I must deal
About the treasures I’ve placed on your gambling wheel
Do they coincide with the ways that you feel?
Or is it simply a fact that I just don’t appeal
I wonder girl on this solemn day
Is it happiness I’ll gain or heartache I’ll pay?
Do we follow the patterns that others will lay?
Or do we confide in each other and tunnel our way
I wonder girl what’s on your mind
Is it impossible to dream or do we still have the time
